Diseases caused by smoking

 Although everyone has their own personal reasons to quit smoking, one thing is certain: Smoking kills! In fact it kills 20,000 peoples in a country for a year!  Le much more than those of alcohol, suicides, murders, fires, drugs and AIDS together!
Smoking -related diseases 

One in two smokers will die diseases associated with smoking. The main of these are: 


  1. EMPHYSEMA
  Emphysema slowly destroys their lung by breathing so difficult than even a simple walt to the corner shop is impossible. Although the damage has already been done is not reset, you can prevent further damage stopping smoking.

2. CANCER LUNG AND OTHER CANCERS

 
Lung cancer is caused by the tar and nicotine in cigarette smoke. Many lung cancers can be removed surgically and victims usually die a few months after diagnosis. Smoking also causes cancer of the lips, oral cavity, throat, larynx, and bladder and is always a risk factor for cancers of the pancreas, stomach, uterus and kidneys.

3. CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES

 
Cardiovascular diseases caused by nicotine and carbon monoxide in cigarettes. The very multi worked your heart has to work even harder to perform daily activities. Cardiovascular diseases drain your energy and make breathing very difficult.

4. PERIPHERAL VASCULAR DISEASES

 
Peripheral vascular diseases develop when less blood and oxygen circulating in your hands and feet. What begins as a tingling or aching pain and can lead to gangrene.

5. FERTILITY AND BIRTH

Many women who smoke are less fertile than non-smokers. It takes them longer to conceive and are more likely to have a miscarriage.

7. DISABILITY
 
Men who smoke are likely to suffer from impotence due to damage to blood vessels in the penis.

8. HORMONE LEVERS LOW 
 Smoking reduces the total hormone estrogen in the body.

9. CONTRACEPTION & HEART ATTACK RISK 
 Taking the pill in combination with smoking increases the risk of heart attacks and strokes about ten times.

10. LOW BIRTH WEIGHT
 Babies who born from the mothers who smoked during pregnancy are more likely to have below normal weight or be born preterm labor. Also tend to get sick more often, cry more and sleep less than babies who born from non-smoking mothers.

11. CHILDREN
 Children whose parents smoke are more likely to suffer pneumonia and bronchitis in the first year of life than children of non-smoking parents. It is also very likely to suffer from very frequent and serious asthma attacks. Older children are more likely to try smoking or become smokers if one or both parents smoke.

PASSIVE SMOKING 
 Passive smoking called inhaled smoke from cigarettes others. Can cause cancer or other damage to the lungs and heart ailments. That is also why I do not allow smoking in most enclosed public places and offices.
